Default How much is a Sony MD player model # MZ-R55 worth ?

Hi, I have a Sony MD player, model# MZ-R55.

It is a recorder and player. Has a line-in jack, a mic-in jack and a line-out jack.

Comes with everything. Ni-MH gumstick battery, additional 2 AA add-on battery pack. Earphones, clip-on remote control. I also have a MD Pickup Lens cleaner (never opened), 17 MD discs (4 brand new unopened), line-in cable and a disc carrying case (carries 4).

I just pulled it out of the closet and it works beautifully. Item is in pristine condition. Sound is still crisp. I hardly ever used this darn thing when I bought it a while ago. Probably used a total of 12 times over the years.

Anyways, I haven't been keeping up with the prices of electronics. How much could I get for it if I posted it on RFD ? Would it be easier to sell the MD discs separately ?

The item is metallic blue in colour.

Thanks for your input, much appreciated !

older model so i would say $40-$50. Try ebay and you might get lucky and get more...

Definately stick it on Ebay, you're much more likely to get a reasonable amount than on RFD. Sell it as a lot, older pre-Hi-MD discs are difficult to offload.
