Default How "Limited" is the GAMEBOY ADVANCE SP CLASSIC NES LIMITED EDITION?

Does anyone know? It's 100$ bones right now isn't it? I want to buy one when the new handhelds come out (it'll be cheaper?), will I be losing an arm and two legs for it?

Thanks.

I don't really recall hearing it being limited. ToyRus's gold(was it gold?.....I can't remember exactly.) and Zellers' green ones are more like limited than the NES theme one. Personally I think it's pretty ugly. The FC version looks way better.

Every seller on e-bay says it's limited, so I'm assumimg they all know something I don't, or maybe they are just trying to make a buck. I remember seeing a lady from Nintendo do an interview about it, and it did sound like it probably was, a limited issue, for older gamers.

What's the FC version? Do you remember the NES gamepad, does the Advance look like the same thing or do you just not like it either way?

Yeah, the Boktai edition is based on a special game which has an attachment on the cartridge that reacts to how much sunlight you are near, and it incorperates that into the game, it's pretty cool, but I'm not sure how much luck you would have finding one on ebay.

hehe I've got both the Famicom and Boktai editions mentioned above With the coffin too! had to import it though obviously.

The mario and zelda editions are only available in Europe according to IGN.

I'd actually like to get the NES edition before it falls off the face of the earth. Anyone know if FutureShop is still carrying it? I was at the Richmond Hill location the other day and there were no more. I want to use my GC on them. I collect these so I'm looking for one in mint condition.

They were in stock when they were at $140 :-(

I had an extra Boktai with game actually but I sold it on ebay already (for only $130 US or so and I lost $$ on that one).

I do have an unopened one, so I'm not willing to part with it unless you can put up the big bucks, especially since I got it before the permanent price drop.

NES edition is rare now? I was at my local FS few days ago and saw at least 3,4 of them ther efor $99.99. I guess it's about as rare as say.......their silver NGC. Plenty were around but after the price drop(well that deal from FS screw up.) then and they are not around anymore after that. FS.ca still have them though so probably just the FS location around my place.

It might just be me, but I can't understand your last sentence. It doesn't make any grammatical sense to me. Anyway, the NES classics ediition Gameboy Advance SP sold fairly well, and it is suppose to be a limited edition run, so once they're gone, I don't think there will be anymore.

yeah like i said I hope to grab one at $100 (using GC of course hehe) before they become extinct.

Also there is the Tribal edition supposedly at EBGames and a Who Are You edition at Walmart. See links below.

Legend of Zelda GBA SP

Mario Special Edition SP

Who Are You SP

If anyone sees these in store or good deals let us know. They have so many limited editions of GBA SP it's hard to keep up! For example this is like the 5th and 6th pokemon editions ..
