Question how to get to a local store on Boxing Day withou a car ?

As most stores open at 7am when there is no bus service, it looks difficult to me to get to stores before they are open. Walking? Crazy! Too far. Biking? Crazy too. Call a cab? Not sure if I have the luck to grab some dirty cheap stuff.....
Any suggestion?

Promise one of your friends you'll buy them something for under $10 if they agree to wake up and be out of the house by 5 am to drive you to wherever =D. Make sure you guys don't get wasted from celebrating the christmas holidays the night before lol.

This isn't a deal and is off topic.

Transportation discussions for your own self, is your problem. Unless you guys want to start up a car-pooling schedule for Boxing Day morning this thread should be locked.

And you also answered your own question, call a Taxi, that's what they are there for.

I can reach 2x FS, 2x Staples, Canadian Tire, Zellers in about 15mins of walk...
You guys must be living really far away from downtown

yep, you will have to carpool to get to more than 1 boxing day sale because if you take the bus, it will take too long to get from store to store (and are you going to be lugging around the 30 inch TV that you bought??)
... and if you take a taxi, you'll go broke first.

thank goodness, i am in a smaller city where all the stores are available within a 15 minute drive. (out here, anything further and we pack a lunch!! :-) ) on the boxing day, i'll need to extra time to be standing in line.

hope it works out for you, and have a great day

Don't be so rude. Learn to read also; this sub-forum is dubbed "Boxing Day Deals and DISCUSSIONS". Take your thread crapping elsewhere.
