Default High-end appliances in the GTA

Does anyone have any experience purchasing high-end appliances in the GTA? I'm starting to plan out a major kitchen remodel, and I'm looking for stuff not usually carried by places like Sears or the Brick - Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Fisher&Paykel etc.

I started by checking out MSRP at Tasco, but really have no idea how to proceed. Are the best deals to be had by negotiating car dealership-style at these places (County, Caplans etc), or by going to Home Show Canada-style places, or something else? Do any of these places typically have boxing week sales?

Thanks for the advice!

From personal experience, I went to Home Show and bought nothing as their so-called "membership" pricing was waaay overpriced. Bought my stuff from Caplans. Do your research to find out how much other people paid for the stuff you're looking at then you'll know where to negotiate from.

Go to Appliance Canada on Jane Street in Concord.

They are extremely busy on Saturdays and you will have to take a number to talk to a salesperson, so try to go another day if you don't have time to wait.

You just need to tell them the models you are interested in (they have a nice showroom with a large selection... Sub-Zero, Thermadour, Wolf, Viking, etc plus the "regular" brands like KitchenAid, Frigidaire, GE, etc). They package a deal for you at the best price. Delivery is free.

Morley's on Weston Road in Woodbridge also has some good prices, but they were slightly higher than Appliance Canada for the models I was looking at.

Keep in mind that these places also do price matching, in case you find a lower price anywhere else.

Located in GTA Tasco's on Dufferin & Lawrence.

Give tasco's a shout and speak to Anna Binetti. She is very easy & friendly to deal with and gives out good prices!!!!!
