I got a call from the number 212 994 2308 ( the lady who called said it was an outgoing phone line ) saying that I had won a $2500 vacation (cruise and resort and disney world etc :P) from the booths at the Richmond Night Market ( presumably those booths probably aren't associated with the night market )
Anyways it all sounds great and all, great sounding vacation and I "did" sign up for the contest. The issue I actually have is that they told me that I need to pay a 600 $ departure fee ( 299 $ per person ) which made me kinda take a step back. Is it legit to have a departure fee on contests? I've looked up the number on google and got this but there are two good posts on it. So im still unsure whether or not to take it. I was actually hoping to have this post in the contests section ... which i lurk ^^ but seeing as all those threads are purely offers for contests I was unsure. Anyways I was just hoping that someone or other had some sorta helpful info for me or similar experiences? Should take this or not... $600 is a lot for me especially if it was a scam O_o |
