Default Heatware left for buyer, but did not return favor..

Recently (about a week ago) completed a transaction where I sold an item to someone on RFD - and filled in a positive evaluation for the buyer right after and have not heard from since.. I requested Heat be added for me, even sent the link.. TWICE since.. read receipts show the user has read them but I guess chooses not to do anything with it..

Now I think its only fair - heat for heat..

What should I do.. this has happened to me before, maybe I'll let the other party initiate heat feedback first?

Sucks that people on here are like this..

Suck it up.

No one is obligated to live another heat, although it is helpful for each if it is left.

Maybe he wasn't satisfied? Who knows. Not something to loose sleep over tho.

Feedback is completely optional. If you are a good seller your buyer will have no problem returning your feedback after a friendly reminder.

Only two of my buyers did not return heatware, and i found out because they have not used their AE gift cards for whatever reason (their cards still have balance). I should have sent them instructions on how to use them after i found out from another buyer, too bad for me.

Thumbs down

yep. No rules about it. Some people just don't 'get it'.

If heatware is important to you., you may want to mention it before the trade so as not to be disappointed in the end. That is...you'd KNOW you weren't getting any from the get go. Of course., I've read of people agreeing to give some., then don't...eventhough it's a positive trade lol.

If you really want it, just keep requesting feedback. Eventually he'll do it just to get you off his back.

With all due respect to the O.P, This bothered you SO MUCH you had to put a post in the "Scammers & Warnings"??!
I understand the annoyance, I've expressed my need for Heatware before a transaction took place, filled out a Heatware only to have no response Countless times. Unless they have a healthy amount on heatware ratings I expect it and am rarely dissapointed.

This is Naval lint on the radar of anyone here. Suck it up.

Yes, I did.

It goes both ways - he told me his profile at the end of the transaction - so I said fine no problems, I'll add Heat, and you do the same, which, up to today he hasn't. Reminded him twice, already, politely.

It comes down to people 'claiming' how many trades they've done I guess is what gets me, +1 for him, +0 for me - makes me look like I've done less trades, right?

Over time it adds up and establishes some sort of trading rep, or at least thats the general idea - I'm not a big time trader here, from time to time I like to do a little house cleaning.

I think from now on I'll only post Heat once its posted to mine.
