Default Good indian buffet in Mississauga or Oakville ???

Hey folks.

Looking now for a nice indian buffet in the Mississauga or Oakville area..

I've visit one already, right on Eglinton (at Tomken) and another one in Richmond Hill (Hwy 7 and Leslie).

The one on Eglinton is 100% vegetarian, food is good, it's pretty cheap (like 7 bucks or so) because there's no meat at all of any kind in there.

The one in Richmond Hill was a very small place, but also cheap and excellent food (man...I can eat 500 pounds of naan)...just too far from me now.

Any recommendations in Mississauga/Oakville area ???

Thanks.

There are tons.

Havelly (meat+veggies). Village of India (strictly veg. ie paneer). Just google some up. Shahi Naan Kabob (pretty small buffet, not sure anymore haven't been there for 2 yrs). Sorry I don't know anything about locations.

500LBS of NAAN!!!!

I think I've accumulated around 100000LBS of nan since I've been born.

Brar Sweets has a good veggie buffet.

There's one in Mississauga on Dundas (near Mavis, I think?).

Just went to Sangam (10 n of Dundas) $13 per person and had an entertainment 2 for 1 so it was $20 including beer before tip. GREAT!!! ...well, dessert could have been better, but maybe I just need to acquire the taste or taste something else there.

Been there many times. Their dinner buffet tastes like re-cycled/reheated food from lunch buffet.

Stay Away!!

Try "Hawaili" Dixie, a light north of dundas, in Rockwood mall. v.spicy, tried their menu not buffet.

"BBQ tonite" is fair rating mavis / burnhamthorpe

as a non-buffet, go "Tandoori Time" right beside "BBQ Tonite" , 5 thumbs up rating for overall (prices + clean + taste)

...the only problem there is that the restaurant there is no longer in business! Tandoori Time and BBQ Tonite are both gone.

went to the Novelty and food was excellent... the variety was not the best (some vegs and 1 fish, goat and chicken dishes) but everything I tried was very good.

price was 9.95 for dinner buffet and sure I'l be going back next week or so.

went to Sangam last night....

definatelly, NOT GOING BACK.

food was terribly COLD....COLD LIKE leftovers that had just come from the fridge....disgustingly cold....believe me.

lot's of variety, but tandoori chicken was simply deceptive.....dry like a piece of wood.....it was simply a "red chicken"...no taste at all.

chicken tikka was the only acceptable thing....all those other plates (sorry for my ignorance - dont know what those creamy ones are called) looked like 1 week old, really rough, dry and thick. The cheese tasted like rubber... there's one that I normally try (made with spinach and some cheese) and it was so horrible that I could not each 1/10 of an ounce...got myself 2 full plates and both were taken back to the kitchen with more than half.

the "2 for 1 special" is for everybody...no coupon needed.
