So, I just came back from No Frills where I found the Whole Wheat pasta on sale for $0.99 for a package of 375g. The big thing is that there is a $1 coupon on the packages. I picked up 6 boxes for -$0.06. This was at Morningside and Lawrence, and I don't think they will last, the checkout girl was pretty shocked to see it on her screen and started talking to the other girls as soon as she was done with us, but my first deal posting in a few years. Thanks again RFDers!

Honestly it's all about what you are used to. I think white pasta tastes bad only because I have become accustomed to the whole wheat.

You're absolutely right, it's not that good, HOWEVER, having said that, I'll tell you how I got used to it. I started my first meal and didn't really like it, so next time, I made 25% whole wheat, and 75% white, the next time, I made it about 33% whole wheat and 67% white, now I eat it 50-50. I still don't like it much, but it's a little healthier, I find it much more filling, so I eat less and it's also a little healthier. It also helps offset some of the cost difference, eating healthy is expensive!

Is the brand actually called "Whole Wheat"? Or something else? Asking because I don't recall seeing this. This is a smoking deal.
Edit: Nevermind. Silly me, forgot I was just looking at the No Frills flyer, which is next to me. It's Catelli on sale for $0.99 |

WW pasta is the only kind I buy for my family, it's an acquired taste my wf and I are totally used to but my kids don't know any better because I started them on it from the beginning.
Just bought some at 99c, no coupon. How did you get them to scan the coupon on the box? Usually you have to cut it out and use it on your next visit. |

It was actually a sticker on the box. I just peeled it off and gave it to the cashier. No questions asked! It was definitely a good deal...it's hard these days to be the one to find these first, so many people willing to share on this site!

I used to eat white pasta and then switched over to ww years ago. I now cringe if I go somewhere and HAVE to eat white pasta. It makes me feel like I'm eating glue. WW is much tastier and healthier

I have also heard about how the WW is not that tasty but that you must acquire the taste. I have several friends who switched over and they love it. I tried it, didn't care for it but did buy some more which I'm going to try to get used to as it's sooooooooo much better for you. It's like anything else, really. I like the idea of doing the mix. I'm going to try that.
