Default Game Cube Controllers

Now that I have a Wii I would like to pick up some old Gamecube games. Problem is I need some controllers

Anyone know where I could find some cheap ones?

p.s. how many controllers can the Wii handle? I don't even know where where they plug into the Wii

first try the BST forums or craigslist, the wii can handle four of them and you have to open the top panel of the wii

Get wavebirds (wireless)

Only downside is there's no rumble

I've seen some orange 3rd party controllers and they're pretty cheap ($15 I think). Do they suck?

I hate 3rd party controllers. Yes I would love to save upwards of $20 on them, just they don't feel right. Right now I have 2 Nintendo GC controllers and 1 Mad Cat one, but I rarely use the Madcat one. It just feels akward playing SSB on it... and MP

Default Wii Controllers

Lol I was just like you. I got a Wii and immediately wanted to buy some gamecube stuff, but I didn't want to spend too much money.

Futureshop had the ICON controller for 9.99. Not wireless, and has no rumble. Other than that, it's pretty good. I didn't want to pay 29.99 for an official nintendo one haha.

You might need memory cards too. I picked up two 32 mb (500 blocks or something) Intec memory cards from amazon.ca for 9.99 each too. I think amazon doesn't have it anymore. Futureshop sells the 64 mb one for 39.99 I think.

Then I bought some games from ebay. I was looking around for smash bros. Wow, it's still so sought after after years. Stupid Ebgames sells a brand new one for 49.99 and a used one for 47.99. WTF is that? Then I found one on ebay for 30 bucks after shipping and handling.

Trust me, you don't want to try third party controllers, some of the analog sticks and buttons are so messed up, it will make a great game play ******, and you're left wondering why it plays like crap.
