ECON 260:
Environmental Economics Second Canadian Edition Barry Field and Nancy Olewiler Published by McGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited. ISBN: 0070880506 Condition: almost like new. I hate high-lighting books, so it is high-lighting-free. I could also supply you all the notes during the semester, because I typed them during class time. Asking: $60 Recommend to take this course with Michael M. Real nice guy, loved him during the summer semester! ECON 331: Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics Fourth Edition Alpha C. Chiang and Keviin Wainwright Published by MaGraw-Hill Ryerson Limited, too. ISBN: 0070109109 Condition: same as above. Hard cover. Asking: $110 Take it with Kevin Wainwright! He was the co-author of the boook! Very organized course. Great course if you are a science major or good at calculus and linear algebra.

Bump for SFU? Thanks...
Oh, speaking of which. SFU purchases computers with public funding, in other words, our tax dollars. Now, would someone tell me why would an academic organization need an AMD 64 x2 4400+ and two 6600 GT in SLi mode? Oh, before you said "it must be the 3D research lab." No, it is the "energy management" faculty. In other words, this computer is probably going to a clerk or a maintenance crew...

Where did you get the info about the computer?
It may be used for some type of energy simulations. But if it's only use for clerk, then we can actually start a topic in SFU forum or something to discuss about it.

Special sources...
It becomes a bit questionable what they are doing with a SLi setup. If today my department (CMPT) orders a Xeon workstation with Quardro cards, then obviously there are some rendering intensive works. ... but what is this facility going to do with a 4400+ and a 6600 GT? Why not a 4400+ with 6200 TC if it is calculation intensive, or a professional card if it is rendering intensive? Oh, why Win XP Pro?
