Yes, you are right. Like other desktop ram sales in this forum, prices of used RAMs are often 80%-90% of those of new rams before tax and S/H. So I think $60 is reasonable. And $40 is totally a lowball.

i made an offer of 40 to the seller

sigh, atleast tell me it's too low, and that 60 is firm.

geez, if you can't be bothered to reply to offers, stop posting stuff for sale.

you're wasting ppl's time.

I would think you can assume not getting a response is equal to "No thanks, your offer is too low."

Maybe if you can't handle not getting a response you should stop PM with extremely low offers... hahah Like he didn't say $60OBO and its not like you offer slightly below.. say like 10% less.. you offered 1/3rd less.

*shrug* It's none of my business what the seller does, but it's just funny you say the seller is wasting pplz time. Go click one of the links I supplied and order from them, but dont forget there will be taxes and shipping on top.

55 * 1.15 = 63.25 for a NEW stick of pc2100

Also considering, you can pick up pc2700 or pc3200 for a couple more bucks.

How is 40 not a reasonable offer?

geez, so many stupid ppl on rfd these days.

So when you buy memery the only thing you loook for is the price? How about brand name and model? Don't say others are stupid. Just face to a mirror, and you'll see a stupid guy..

I agree you may find better deals out there in the world.. perhaps if you happened to be on a trip to Taiwan or China you could get bargain bin prices on ram that fell off the back of the truck.

As for this thread, if the person isn't replying to a PM.. obviously they're not interested in your lowball offer. If you are just so completely offended by such a thing, go get your 55 * 1.15 = 63.25 for a NEW stick of pc2100 and live happily ever after.

No wonder he/she didn't reply, who'd want to deal with someone like you? Make demands, then throw insults after you don't get your way. Pathetic.
