fraud alerts

I put up a web blog quickly to hekp others recognize fraud artists. We all have items for sale on the net, either or ebay, here or in local classifieds.
I was getting several emails a day offering the usual

pay by bidpay/western union money order
ship to nigeria
use their own fedex account....
send them back the extra funds that they sent to you (they usually send 2x what you ask for your item, and they want the rest back)
or they will have someone pivk up the item for sale, and the extra cash they gave you....

anyways....I'm sure you all have experienced this in one form or another....

How is it them scamming you if they send 2x the amount?

maybe he's using your auction to launder UN aid money, be careful.

They send you fake money orders or cheques that take awhile to clear. In the meantime, they bother you non-stop to send them excess money immediately and/or the item you were selling. Then it's discovered the money orders are fake and the bank takes the money back out of your account.

They all have the same stupid grammer, they all insist on Money orders and ALL of them want ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFO. I use newsgroups all the time but I never get bombarded by West African scammers as I do here EXCLUSIVELY.

SO I'm wondering how is this actually happening?!?!?! Do people in Nigeria get sold template letters to pull frauds? Because that many people cannot all sound the same and have the same ****ed up emails all the time. Also, when they are sold the scam template kits, do they get a list of which sites to hit? Because on newsnet you might get other spam to enlarge you penis, buy fake rolexes and diet pills but never what I see and get here all the time.
