no listen i'll tell you what happened. I lost the money order and never spent it, I am sure you can check to see if it's been cashed you can most likely get a refund. My girlfriend crumpled it up and threw it in my fireplace. Anyways I will still send you the CPU, just LMK if you can infact get a refund. OCT 24

Listen Bill, I want to fix this. I have talked to people and they said you can cancel the money order and re-send it. I am all for that and if you are all for that I will even send you the CPU before you send the money order again. You seemed taken back by what you thought was me being dishonest. I admit it took 1 lie and then the truth when I should of just said what happened in the first place, I am sorry for that. I was planning on sending the CPU that day went looking for the money order and well you know the rest. Anyways like I said I will gladly send the CPU first if you would still like to do this. Again Bill I am sorry for the confusion, LMK if this is acceptable and I can mail the CPU tonight when I go into town. LMK, peace bro.

Well I want to make sure you get your money back. I am not who you think I am. LMK if there is anything I can do. I searched for the M.O all over again and still came up with nothing.

Hey bro, I was doing some Christmas cleaning and I found that money order. Looks like I cannot blame my GF now, heh. Anyways, I am going to send it back to you on Monday and we can put this all behind us and you can see that I am legit and not a bad trader. Look forward to your reply man, thx.

It's kind of hard to follow through but I see the general story.

So the guy took your money order and didn't send the CPU... What did he say before?... That his gf threw the money order into the fireplace? lol... What the heck? haha.

Thanks for the heads up. Another trader to look out for.

cancel the money order and make a new one out to yourself.

you can cancel them, just to go wherever you made it from with your carbon copy, ask them to trace it.
when it comes back as uncashed, you can ask to cancel and make a new one.

so you lose a couple of bucks and time, but its better then losing everything, and losing alot more time with this guy.

low,

Make sure you edit the title line to put the loser's username in it.

Is it just me or is there a lot of crap going on here lately. You have newbies, like Table21, with 5 active threads at the same time. You have guys with a decent amount of heatware (and who should know better) backing out of deals, or screwing people over $30-40. Remember Flintblade or Superman-01?

Heck, this week alone I have been screwed twice. I have been waiting since Wednesday for Jokester to send me EMT. I PM'ed him once after Wednesday. He said he'd send it Friday. But nothing yet so I PM'ed him yesterday and gave him a deadline or I didn't want to deal with him. No reply and he missed the deadline.

Then on Friday, NuSpeed, is selling some OCZ PC2-6400. I make an offer, he counters higher, then I split the difference. He accepts my offer and asks for EMT. I reply asking for a name and address so I can send EMT, and I get no reponse. Finally, today, he responds that he sold the ram to someone else. Huh? Doesn't anybody keep their word anymore?

I have to agree, happened to me quite a few times past week, having people telling me they will come pick it up and it's always a no-show.

It's the few idiots that make it difficult for everyone else, I recently purchased a raptor, a mobo and cpu, and a video card from different sellers and I am happy to say that all 3 transactions went smoothly, so keep the faith guys there will always be bad traders but it's because of the many good traders that RFD can exist.
