Default Fido Boxing Day Deals!

[ripped from HowardForums, thanks didouche]

Fido's having a boxing day sale at their retail locations. Supposed to be specials on a bunch of phones and accessories. Highlights include:

$0 - Siemens S55 (color screen triband)
$100 - Sony Ericsson P800 (smartphone, sweet deal)
$25 - Sony Ericsson T616 (color screen, bluetooth, 850mhz!)
$75 - Nokia 7210 (color screen, bluetooth)

All of these prices are for new activation / 2yr contract only. I'm not sure if existing month-to-month subscribers can sign contracts to get these deals. There will probably be more deals in store so it's worth checking this out

Goto Futureshop instead.

With 2 year fido agreement, you get phone discount equal or better than Fido store, plus they will give you $50 to $100 gift card.

BTW, the Nokia 7210 doesn't have bluetooth at all. For connectivity to PC or another mobile, it uses Infrared.

Merry Christmas!

The agreement is 2 years.

Not bad for the S55, otherwise, somewhat lacking

It's real.. glad I'm not working tomorrow.

I don't think each store has a lot of stock for the p800 though, most stores only have 1. plus the A56, S55, 7210, and a few other models are refurbished phones that are re-boxed.

nice phone but the P900/P910 or the Tero 650 are way better phones.

not bad for a hundred bucks though.

The best Fido prepaid phone deal is Sony Ericssson Z200 Tri-Band World Phone - White from Best Buy. $59.99 after $65 instant rebate.

http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodde...ewdeptid=20157

Prepaid: $50 airtime credit valid 60 days
referral credit: $20, you need a Fido user to refer you and he/she will get another $20 credit if you stay for 3 months.

You get $70 credit and you need to pay $59.99 + tax.

After 60 days, you can switch to monthly plan with no charge.

I heard that the Z200 is troublesome.
Fido already discontinued this phone.

P800 is indeed $100 with 2 year agreement; $250 with monthly activation and $1000 with prepaid:
