What books did you find especially helpful & informative? Mine are:
The What to Expect series - good for reference & answering questions The First Three Years of Life by Burton White - i found to have excellent advice on child rearing, worked for both my kids IMO 1-2-3 Magic by Thomas Phelan - helped alot in discipline issues! really worked with my son.

To get me through the nine months:
The Expectant Father - month by month explanation of what is going on, what to expect and how I could help. To get me through the birth: The Birth Partner - This book was great. It helped me get the courage to actually be an active member during the birth experience and helped make the event ours. I recommend it to all my friends who are helping their partners through the birth |
