They're so far behind if they're only thinking of doing this now.
It's amazing, Sony has innovated far more than Xbox and using standard computer peripherals too. Wasn't there the netmeeting camera they announced for Japan but never managed to put out? |

Netmeeting/webcam/videophone & camera input through your console was done years ago with the DreamEye, 4 years ahead of Sony.

the real question is:
who needs that crap? i don't know anyone who uses eyetoy for ps2, and it looks pretty gay to me, wouldn;t be fun at all
