I'm living in an apartment in Toronto, and the water here is just causing havoc on my sensitive skin.
So I'm looking for an attachment to put before my showerhead. I've discovered they are called "shower filters", but I'd like one that also adds salt before coming out. However, if that's not possible, then fine. Anyway, can anyone recommend a good one? One I can get in a local store so I don't have to order online and wait for a while to get it? I'd like to get one ASAP. Or can you recommend a good local water store in the Yonge & Wellesley area? Thanks for your help!

No info at all?
Anyone know how to remove those crappy default apartment showerheads that are ugly and usually really old? I need to have a different showerhead and I don't know how to remove it - it's not obvious how. There's one screw at the tile but... I don't know if that'll do anything. Anyone know?

Try give Home Comfort Centre a call at 905-886-6621. I know they have a few stores around the GTA as they specialize in water filtration systems. One of my friend bought a apartment water softener from them. They have shower filters as well to remove chlorine from water.
There website is www.homecomfortcentre.com It doesnt show the apartment softener or the showerfilter in the site though. Gary |

I actually ended up buying the AquaSana filter and it's working quite well so far (had it about a month).
