Default Elia Queen Mattress Visco Memory Foam Mattress $279.97 Costco.ca While supplies last

While browsing the LIMITED TIME OFFERS on coscto.ca, I came across this memory foam mattress for under $300. Seems like a decent deal for a Queen size (King also), with FREE shipping. With costco, you can always try it and if you don't like it, just bring it back.

Costo.ca Item # 175345

Get a great night’s sleep on SleepScience™ Elia 20.3 cm (8 in.) pure visco memory foam mattress. The Elia mattress offers a soft sleeping surface with medium to firm support. It contours the body and relieves pressure points with its top layer of visco memory foam, yet supports the body weight with its supportive base foam. It also features a 5.1 cm (2-in.) air barrier in the middle of the mattress. Made of an enlarged cellular material, this barrier allows the flow of air between the top and bottom layers of the mattress to neutralize the temperature of the mattress as it absorbs body heat. This ensures optimized comfort throughout your sleep experience.

This is the perfect introductory visco memory foam mattress for those who have never slept on memory foam. The Elia has been specifically configured to offer a soft sleeping surface sensation supported by therapeutic support layers.

We bought the QUEEN and here is the breakdown for pricing

Any reviews? I recently purchased the Novaform for $650ish and it is the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Is this comparable?

I can't find the review specifically for this model. But Visco's matress topper seems to have pretty positive review on amazon:

i figure and 8" foam mattress shipped for under $300 ain't bad. i'll try it out for a few weeks, 90 days etc, and if it's no good, i'll just return it.

Is there a 90 day return on mattresses though? I'd think it was something of a hygienic thing.

Also will I be noticeably hotter sleeping with this? Or is it better than a normal mattress. Heat is a big issue for me :/

Isn't it the return is indefinite? Mattress is not under the 90 days

Dammit... I couldn't resist and ordered the King mattress.. I can't wait to try it out.

The only thing is - I have an Ikea bed with slats, does anyone know if I need to buy some sort of box spring or something flat or can I put the foam mattress directly on top of the slats?

it might be endless, but i should know within 3 mos if i like it or not. but yeah, if it starts to fall apart in a year, i'll be bring it back.

i think you can put it right on your old boxspring, at least that's why i'm hoping.

Have to try one at this price. I was looking at a topper the other day for $200.00. An extra $80.00 gets the whole mattress. If I don't like it, I guess it goes to my daughter.

You are not suppose to use a normal boxspring with a foam mattress. you could put a piece of plywood on top of a boxspring.

that's what we'll do, until we get a proper frame for it or i build a pine one. it looks like it just needs to sit on something hard/flat. i'm sure IKEA or JYSK has something cheap.

costco.com sells the frame for it, but the .ca site does not.

i'd like to get a hold of the matching foundation, seen here:

this bed frame/foundtaion looks similar to the sold by costco.com with the mattress, and sells for $169/queen from ikea.ca:

This was on sale in January for $400 so it dropped a lot since then. I ended up returning it (didnt try it), At this price, i probably would have kept it but i dont need it now.

Thanks OP.

Is this a really good price? I need to get a mattress but I haven't had a chance to do my homework. So, the question is, should I buy it "while supplies last"?
