ELECTRICIANS: any danger/difference in using PC power cable looking like this?

I have this cool looking cable I found at work that's intended for aviational use with a medical device.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE, is that the cylindrical plug of the three prongs., instead of a solid cylinder., the prong is U-SHAPED.

Basically take a plate of metal, and bend it-making a U-shape.

d'YA THINK my PC would care?

I'm really paranoid about this.

That cylindrical plug is the ground, so it does not matter.

can you give me any assurance to your certainty and professioN? I knew it was the ground...but I was just dumb-founded why the shape was any different??? From what I can see...that's all that's different. Maybe there's better shielding in the cable, making it safe for aviation use???

Hospital grade connectors require a U-Shaped ground...it helps to prevent accidental unplugging of the cord.
