Default Driver's Edge vs Enrich vs Petro Points

I am currently interested to get my 3rd credit card (will cancel 1 of the old one tho after receiving it)

I have looked at these card, all from CitiBank

Driver's Edge: 2% saving to a car in 5 years

I am not sure if I will buy a car in 5 years. Chances are quite likely as I dont have a car now, just share it with my family. It is getting old (7 years).

Enrich: 1% cash back

Pure and simple, 1% cash back

PetroPoints Mastercard

2 cents off gas is like 2% saving on gas. Plus I can use it for PC points which the reward rate is 1%.

Other thing considered

I want a Platinum card....... because I like that colour!

Which one is suited for me? Or did I miss some other good one?

Another question

Currently I have a line of credit that I am not using (it is just here in case I really need money). Will that affect my chance of getting more credit ( in this case credit card)?

i'm sure loc will do something bad when you are trying to get a new credit!
i tried to get the citi PetroPoints Mastercard card and get denied. i called them and ask why(i have 2 visa & 1 amex and pay in full each month), they told me i have too many credit! i bet they count my loc as part of my credit even i never want to use it and it's pre-approved for me!

yes, loc counts as credit. i'm applying for enrich. if i get $5000 limit, i can get enrich platinum, shouldn't be a problem i think. but citibank is very slow in processing applications, been 4 weeks now and haven't heard a thing. i guess it will be another week at least.

I have a drivers edge platinum....gives me an excuse to get another car in a few years

2% is still double what the enrich offers. I'd rather get the 2%.

Petro seems ok, but that's ONLY when you buy gas right? Do you get points for your normal purchases through the credit card?

No, you got 10 petro points for every dollar you spend on top of the 2 cents off per litre
