How do I enter? Build your dream PC and you could win it! All you have to do is create your $2000 dream PC using NCIX’s system builder and post the details in this forum! Check out the rules and be sure to follow the guidelines.

Prizes: NCIX.com is giving you a chance to win a $2000 computer that you get to build! Using their powerful system builder, you can build the PC you’ve been dreaming of and if you’re lucky, win it! Just create a thread in this forum with the details of the computer you built totaling no more than $2000 and we will draw one lucky reader to win the their dream computer. We will also randomly select 20 other entries and they will each win a $50 NCIX.com gift card!

Step by Step Guide to Entering

1. Go to the System Builder page by clicking here.

2. Select one of the base systems.

3. Pick and choose the components you want in your system. (Remember that it can't total more than $2000)

4. Click Preview & Print this Configuration



5. Copy the list of components and the total price of the system

6. Create a new thread in this forum and paste the details of your system into that thread.

Contest Rules

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Individuals are invited to create a computer system of up to $2,000 pre-tax using the NCIX PC Builder at NCIX.com and then post it in a Custom PC List.
2. The Custom PC List must be created in a new thread in the forum entitled "Build it and Win it $2,000 NCIX.com Custom PC Contest!"
3. The Custom PC List must contain name of the products, the current price of the products, and the total of the items on their Custom PC List before any tax and shipping costs.
4. The total price of the items on the user's Custom PC List must not exceed $2,000 Canadian at the time of posting.
5. If an item has an applicable rebate, it MAY NOT be subtracted from the Custom PC List total. All Custom PC List item prices must be before Mail-in Rebates.
6. The contest will begin at 12:01AM EST on August 9th, 2006 and ends at 11:59PM EST on September 8th, 2006.
7. Individuals may create only one Custom PC List. Those found to have created multiple lists under a different user name will be disqualified.
8. A purchase is not necessary to enter the contest.
9. You may not include gift cards as a part of your Custom PC List.

DRAWING & NOTIFICATION
1. On September 12th, 2006 one user's Custom PC List will be randomly selected. This user will then win the items on their Custom PC List, to be provided by NCIX.com.
2. On September 12th, 2006 twenty users' will be randomly selected to receive a $50 NCIX.com Gift Card to be provided by NCIX.com.
3. The winners will be contacted by the e-mail address used to register their RedFlagDeals.com forum account. If the eligible entrant does not respond to the email within 7 days, he/she will be deemed to be no longer eligible to win the prize, and another entrant will be randomly selected from qualifying entries and the process of contacting a new selected entrant will be repeated.
4. In the event that an item on the winners' list has increased in price since its creation and the price increase has pushed their total past the $2,000 threshold or that an item is out of stock, the user will be required to pick a different item that does not make the total pre-tax cost of their list exceed $2,000.
5. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question.
6. After having been selected as the winner, the winner must provide their shipping address to receive their prize.
7. The contest closing date will be September 8th, 2006. Custom PC Lists posted after this date will not be eligible for selection.

GENERAL RULES
1. The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are residing in Canada, excluding Quebec, and who have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside.
2. No purchase is necessary to enter to win.
3. By entering the contest, the winners consent to the use without payment of their name, address, and/or photograph and any publicity, advertising or promotion carried out by RedFlagDeals.com and/or its advertising & promotional agencies.
4. Odds of winning depend on the number of entrants.
5. The contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by RedFlagDeals.com. RedFlagDeals.com reserves the right to cancel this online contest at any time in the event of unanticipated problems, irregularities or fraud including suspected tampering or other interference with the proper working order of the contest or technical corruptions including a virus or other technical problems. If RedFlagDeals.com decides to cancel this online contest it will publish a notice at the RedFlagDeals.com web site. If RedFlagDeals.com suspects that fraud has occurred, it reserves the right to treat any affected entries as invalid.
6. All decisions regarding this online contest and the selection of the winner are final and remain with RedFlagDeals.com.
7. RedFlagDeals.com does not assume any responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries. RedFlagDeals.com does not assume any responsibility for any failure of the web site at any time or for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, address providers, computer equipment or software.
8. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
9. The contest is not open to employees/staff of RedFlagDeals.com, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising agencies or the persons with whom they reside.

Yes.

You can use the after instant rebate price as well.

Can we use Sale prices (once the sale goes up)? I assume that's okay as long as they are valid at the date of posting.
