Default Completing a BA

I have a 3 year technology Diploma, and I wanted to complete a BA.
Well, as it seems, there are many places I can go, but for the most part it will take 2 1/2 years to get that B.A.

I don't want to waste that amount of time, and all I need the undergrad for is to enter an M.B.A program at TRU or Niagara University.

I was told that George Brown College has a BA completion program , and I was really happy.

I just found out it's only part time, and that it will take 2 years to finish 1 year! WTF~!!!!!@R#$#%@#

I want to finish that upper level year in 1 year and be done w/ it.

Does anyone know other Colleges/Unies that will take a 3 yr technical diploma and let me finish a B.A in something?

I was going to see if Niagara Universities Liberal Arts BA would allow me to finish the last year.

As far as I know, you have to complete at least 50% of the courses (usually 2 years) at the institution where you're getting the degree.

For example, Centennial has a 3 year Business Admin. diploma program which Brock U recognizes. If the student wants to complete a BA after their diploma, he/she enrolls into the 3rd year of the BA program and completes the final 2 years.

Correct... no school will let you just pick up where you left off somewhere else. You're lucky if your 3 year degree counts for the first two years.

Two reasons really,

1) what kind of credibility would their degree have if they gave them out, saying you did their specific program when you only did 25% of the work of that particular program. It'd be a pure falsity. I'd love to finish 98% of my current degree and transfer to Yale for that last course... great money saver! Who said Yale was expensive, pfft! .

and 2) You dont really expect them to give you a BA after you've only paid for 1 year right? They dont care if you gave money to another university, they want a sizeable cut of a degree production cost, which is normally at least 2 years.

I doubt you'll find anywhere that'll let you start off just your final year, if you get 1.5 years, then snatch it up. Even the part-time deal is better, at least the work and cost is like the 1 year makeup, even if it takes longer.

George Brown (Bemibji University) actually give 3 years of credit.. lol
I have to take 13 classes, but the problem is that it's part time only.

I decided I'm just going to take it this semester part time, and see if I can go to Minnesota next term to finish it off full time. All I need is a dang BA so I can either do the Jet program or go to TRU and do an M.B.A program so I can get an Internship at down town Calgary. :/

--Edit--

Thought they are charging $485/credit, which is like charging 2 yrs for 1 yr..
