Since it's a dark & dreary Saturday afternoon (in Montreal) I psychologically prepared myself to tackle and clean out my closet (plus I need to make room for the new items I bought). I'm sure most of us have done this at one point in our lives.
When it comes to cleaning out your closet do you ask yourself questions like, when did you use it last, when will you use it again? Do you sometimes push things back in the closet or do you consider everything in the present time, from the shape of your body to the needs of your lifestyle? Do you keep any feel good items or only your current favorites? Discuss... Back to the grind for me.... Last edited by boneca; Sep 9th, 2006 at 02:31 PM.. |

I'm pretty bad with cleaning out my closet.
I keep clothes that are in good condition, the items that are crappy usually end up getting thrown out (stained/torn/shredded items). Clothes that don't fit are usually given away. But I don't get rid of clothing just because I haven't worn something in a year or 2. If I still like the item and it fits I keep it. I have alot of dressy clothing that I don't wear as much thesedays, they are classic and stylish so I'll keep them until I change my mind. Same for shoes. I haven't worn some of my shoes for at least 2 years and just pulled them out again. I usually only get rid of shoes when they are worn out or I really hate them.
