Canon S2 IS, E18 error code and Staples

Hi!

I bought a S2 IS at Staples Online 2 months ago. I'm already getting a E18 error message meaning that there's something wrong with the lens.

It's written "Limited 1 year warranty" on their website, does it cover stuff like E18 error codes?

Do I have to return it by mail or if I can go at any Staples store and ask for a replacement?

I found my answer... No Staples warranty after 30 days. DAMN!

you mean within 30 days....Staples would've replaced it????

i had this happen to my A70, after 8mos of use. Sent it back to canon, got it back in about 4 wks.. workign fine again.
