TD has them on for $99.97
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...zCjCVqHCjCdwwp FS sells them for $154.xx BB sells for $129.xx I PM'd at BB since FS was out of stock, with tax (BC) came to $100.77. FS has them for $154 so if you PM there you will get a even better deal with the 10% difference. |

I got a PM at FS but they added in the higher UPS shipping rate to the Tigerdirect price. So my discount was only about $10.00.
I see a few differences between the BlueAnt Supertooth3 over the Jabra SP700: The BlueAnt has a flashing blue LED light - small, but you see it at night- the Jabra has a steady blue LED light (less noticible). I suppose you could put some black tape over the BlueAnt LED to mask it. The BlueAnt keeps the volume setting you set after you turn it off and back on. The Jabra would reset back to full volume which was annoying. The Jabra will power itself down 10-15 minutes after you leave the car and get out of Bluetooth range (30 feet or so). Once you get out of Bluetooth range you have to re-connect your phone to the Jabra by powering the Jabra off and then on. The BlueAnt will go into a standby mode after you leave the car and get out of Bluetooth range (30 feet or so). When you get back into the car and create a vibration (by closing the car door) the BlueAnt automatically re-connects to your cell. The BlueAnt will answer the incoming call if you say 'OK' (or 'Answer') while you have to press a button on the Jabra to answer a call. The BlueAnt can be easily repositioned to the back side of your sunvisor - handy if you are driving into the sun and have the sunvisor down. The Jabra will transmit the speaker sounds to your FM radio - but when I tried this it was a pain as the reception kept fading in and out (I have a rear window antenna) and I had to tune the car radio to one of the frequencies the Jabra supports. I ended up going back to using the Jabra internal speaker - then I could listen to the car radio and just turn it down when a call came in (easier than changing stations to the Jabra frequency). Both units perform fine - provided you have the microphone facing you. Battery life in both units is very long. Both are (IMHO) better than a bluetooth headset. ...and with either unit - you have to be ready when you are out of your car - but still in Bluetooth range of the device in the car - that your cell phone will not have sound (as the sound is coming out of the Bluetooth device in your car). So be ready to switch the phone over to non-bluetooth mode. Last edited by careh; Nov 16th, 2009 at 12:38 PM.. |

I priced matched Sig Electronics a few weeks ago without any problems at BB. Sig lists Blueant at the bottom of their page as an Authorized Dealer, and also lists that the full 2 year exchange warranty is honored.
Now, if you price match Jabra SP700 with Futureshop, that's a steal. Futureshop has the Jabra for $134.99, whereas Sig has it for $49.99, you can get it for $41.50 after PM.... just as long as they have it in stock. BB and FS has to PM ANY Authorized Canadian Dealer as long as they have it in stock, and it's not a clearance/closeout/liquidation etc etc. ![]()

I also PMed this at FS couple of weeks back. They tried to give me excuses like its Online only or they are not authorized dealer and blah blah.. I showed them print out which reads that they are authorized dealer.. the guy went to BlueAnt web site and tried searching SIG's name under authorized dealer..
![]() Finally Price matched but no 10% difference.. excuse : they are not in the list of authorized dealer at Blueant site.. ![]() It was good 20 minutes before I got my PM approved..
