Format to be used, please:
Dell Financial Services
When: Summer 2003-Summer 2004
Situation: Ordered Dimension 2400 with printer (before I knew about RFD). Found a cheaper deal at FS and bought it there with the companies new TD Visa. Called Dell and cancelled order. They faxed us a form letter that we had to sign an acknowledgement on (basically saying that yes, we did cancel it ourselves). DFS started taking money out of business chequing account. Called Dell and was told to call DFS. Called DFS and was told that they will stop taking it out and that "We shouldn't be so ungrateful". So we should be happy that DFS steals our money? Took from August 2003 to May 2004 to sort it out and get them to stop pre-auth payments. June 2004 we still dont have any cheque. Now they say that they dont know why they stopped the payments and that they have a Dell cancellation form on file but not a DFS one. So they fax the DELL one back to use with acknowledgement signature whit-outed and with Financial Services written in pen under the Dell logo. We sign it and fax it back. Now in July we call them daily and are given the The Cheque is In The Mail each time. We prepared the SCC docs and my grandmother gave them permission to talk to me about it. i call them and my exact words: You people dont mail out cheque yet, we have asked numerous times. We have it by 8 AM tomorrow or Small Claims Court BRAMPTON gets involved. The next day we dont have it at home so we go to the office to get the docs to head to bramption with when suddenly i look on the office door and there is an envelope from Dell with my name and cell phone number written on it taped to the door with no stamp, purolator label, or anything. Basically hand-delivered. Inside was a cheque payable to my grandmother.

Basically, to get money that they legally didnt have access to back, you need to have a third-party get involved and scare them. Shouldnt happen.

Dun let anyone think they got more "rights" than you on this board.

You have no more or no less "rights" on this board than even members who have been here for years.

That privilege is for "Moderators" or "Admnistrators".

We are all the same here though if you have noticed some people seem to get flamed more than other people.

As for your thread let me be the first to list a vendor.

Just in case anybody in the GVA area still does not know never deal with Atic!

After my disastrous attempt to purchase the external harddrive from 1click2computers last week I would like to add them.
Although I didn`t actually get to purchase anything the poor job of pricing on their website makes me wonder if any of the product is priced properly.

Montague..who or what is Atic?

I made an online purchase from www.costumehut.com over a month ago for some dance costumes, 24 in total. They billed my Visa for the entire amount and then shipped the order incomplete. To date I am missing 14 costumes and have phoned and emailed them numourous times, the mailbox on the phone was full and it took 2 weeks to get a responce to my email at which time they told me that the other costumes were backordered and would be shipped this week. Very poor customer service!! They should have never charged my CC for items not shipped, not to mention the fact that thier was no documentation indicating the remainder of the order was on backorder in the original shipment. I would never recommend purchasing from this company!!!

Was that the 160GIG Iomega one?

Yeah the low price seemed kinda fishy so I ignored that thread.
