BlackBerry 8700r - “uncaught exception: net.rim.vm. Too Many Threads Error.”

Hey everyone,
I have a user having problems with his 8700r. He's had this problem previously, so I had him reinstall the blackberry software. He still is getting the problem after this.

“Uncaught exception: net.rim.vm. Too Many Threads Error.”

He says he was using the scheduler when this happened.
Sorry I don't have more details, but the user is offsite and I don't have access to the BB.

I've tried posting on BB forums, but haven't got any response yet, wondering if any of you can help or direct me on to someone who can?

What version of the BB OS is he running? Did you get him to install 4.2.1 or whatever the latest version of the OS is for the 8700r? It's been a while since I've worked with the BB OS.

Whatever the latest version is on the Rogers site as of last week. I don't recall the version number, but the newest on Rogers site now is 4.1.280
