Best Methods of Washing and Drying Jeans

What is the best way to wash and dry jeans?

Here's what I'm thinking:

-cold wash, turn jeans inside out, only wash with other jeans
-air dry, but put them in dryer for 5 mins once they're done air drying

Is this correct? What methods do you use to preserve your jeans as best as possible?

Yep, that's pretty much what I do.
