Best laptop deal last year ?

Hey guys , I'm gonna be shopping for a budget laptop this year around boxing day , and was just wondering what your best laptop deal from last year is , just to give me an idea of what I can expect

I think Dell will come out with some hot deals when boxing day comes a bit closer ... im also keeping my eyes out for a laptop deal

Yeah .... hopefully FS and BB will have some good offerings too .... but I'm afraid nobody will be able to match Staples' insane prices 447,397,and even lower

i'm looking for a budget laptop as well. lets see what we can get on boxing. too bad i missed out on staples deals.

Isn't Celeron CPU discontinued by Intel for laptop ?

Anyway, just like last year, it will be ~449$ for a very low end laptop (If I remember, it was like a Celeron 1.3Ghz, 40gb ram, 256mb.. very low end by this time. Something that isn't even a deal but a "striped down" version that you wouldn't buy in normal time)
