Default Best boxing day HDD deal

OK, so far from the 3-4 that I've read, the WD 200GB for $115 after taxes and minus the $40-TD-I-hope-I-get-my-rebate deal looks to be the best, even though it isn't a boxing day item.

The FS/BB deals have just too high post tax pre rebate prices to consider so far.

Anyone see any better deals on a HDD 120-160GB or more?

eh? original poster posted:
1) 200gb
2) after tax and after rebate

i think the tiger_direct is pretty good deal. the fs/bb deal probably includes MIR also.

I bought two from FS last year and got the rebate on both of them. If I recall correctly, the rebate was direct from WD.

I took a sneak peak on the boxing day flyer that was deleted today and it says that there's a 250GB WD on sale for $129 after MIR unless my eyes were playing tricks on me lol.

If you read my OP, you'll see I stated it was 115 after taxes and AR. So I don't know why you're correcting me.

Also, 8MB isn't really crucial if its just a storage drive. As for Maxtor, I haven't had a lot of problems with them, but recently been hearing about a lot more problems with their 200GB and up drives.

if you're gonna get the TD HDD, I suggest getting it soon. The MIR ends DEC 31!

Um, of course there would be. Why wouldn't there be?
