Default belair direct animated "whos at fault?" game

http://www.belairdirect.com/english/..._knowledge.htm

I think this is a good idea/concept - if only they had made it a little more detailed/more tricky situations and more information then it would be icing on the cake.

Also would be useful if there was some way to submit your answers and see the correct ones.. unless I'm blind, I don't see any way to do this..

I don't get why the blue car in #4 should be at fault, even is its only 25%.

It tells you if you're right or not as soon as you click on an answer.

I think whenever a left turn is made, extreme caution has to ALWAYS be exercised...

Just say you're making a left at a controlled intersection and the light turns yellow and is about to turn red. As the light turns red, you make the left turn and someone flys through the intersection and smashes into you - even though the driver has run a red light, you (the left turner) failed to wait to make sure the intersection was properly clear and are therefore 100% at fault

(this is a situation which happened to a good friend of mine 2 years ago and he never stops talking about it)

I think it's better to wait and go through somewhat full red than go on amber unless you know all the jerkoffs have stopped.

I agree with you there, but in that situation, the guy was behind him, its clearly a no passing zone, AND its an intersection. You could also argue that the blue car, checked everything including his blind spot just as he was about to go into the turn, then the guy from behind him smashes into him just as he is at the very start of his turn.

I would have said No 4 is 100% for the yellow car which was overtaking and crossing the yellow line. Doesn't the law say something about using extreme caution when overtaking ?

The blue car is responsible for making the turn safely. Yes I think it is crazy that you have to be responsible for someone coming up from behind you in a lane you don't expect them to be in, and after you had already checked your blind spot, and that the yellow car is passing using the opposing lane while going through an intersection. But that is for sure the way the law looks at it.
