Spilled some BBQ sauce on the front seat of my Mazda 3. Had to go to class, by the time I came back it "settled".
Google offers the following suggestions to clean BBQ: -Detergent -Carburetor Cleaner (who drives a car with a carburetor anymore?) -Glycerine Wondering if anyone knows for sure, I don't want to ruin or discolor my front seat. |

I bought a used 2000 Honda Civic and the previous owner didn't take care of the car that well..Anyhow the carpet on the car floor was very dirty with dirt stains, and nasty salt stains..My brother who works for GM told me that a friend from work said to try a solution of simple hot water and regular white vinegar and let me tell U that my carpets came out completely clean with no discoloration what so ever..Don't worry about the vinegar smell it will disappear in a few days..Use a regular bucket and fill it up, I would say about just little over a half with hot water, and use about 2 full cups of vinegar..Anyhow let me know how it goes

Personally after my experience with the water and vinegar I am quite happy..Most importantly it's a natural product with no harsh chemicals in it, so chances of discoloration happening is zero..With these other products on the market that contain chemicals U r taking a chance..That's just my opinion
