Default BB: HP DV2418 14.1" Intel Centrino Core Duo T2450 2.0GHz Laptop

Seems like a decent deal to me, need a laptop for university, and a 14.1 would be probably nice.

not bad, the battery is a 12cell so it will stick out on the bottom.

Better deal than the 2412 from FS last month. Core duo processor better than the tk-53. Same 12 cell battery.

The 2412 is now $749 from FS. Same spec. except with tk-53 cpu. It is another choice if you want $50 cheaper, just a bit slower cpu.

REGULAR price .... GMA 950 video card - already know this laptop is OLD centrino. its cpu and memory prices are dropping sharply these months

Personally I would buy new centrino pro laptop with x3100 graphics and 802.11n wireless .... perhaps LED screen, better video card with HDMI

personally i would too if i could get it for $800..
but.. you can't

hence why this is a good deal when comparing what you can get at this price.

Talking

personally i wouldn't buy a laptop now.

These old cpu, motherboard ... would be out of stock and disappear soon. Now in global market some NEW centrino pro laptops are already under c$1000. but we are canadian and have to wait for couple months.
