Default Astraweb Usenet Unlimited/456 days retention/20 connection

Astraweb currently has a special plan for usenet usage. I signed up to it yesterday and it maxes out my connection of 10mbit. I dont know about how it handles faster connections.

This is what it offers:

Quote:
Unlimited DSL - US$ 11 every month

# No Speed Limits
# No Download Limits
# 456 days retention!!!
# 20 Connections
# SSL Access
# You will pay $11 for every month as long as your subcription remains active. We will not raise the price.

* This is a SPECIAL offer. Available for a Limited time only.
UPDATE 2:
Astraweb have upgraded servers to support 365 days retention capacity.

Please note that obviously retention will not be 365 days as of today. Each day, retention increases by one day and at this moment is around 210 days and will continue to grow until 365 days.

UPDATE:
Astraweb upgraded retention to 270 days on Dec 31

I use NZB sites and *********, they do the trick for me.

Giganews i hear is the best but the most expensive, this news group is REALLY cheap, I've never heard of it but its a heck of a deal.

I've never used usenet before. Can it be used as a torrent replacement?
