Badminton?

Does any one know where there is badminton to play in the Scarborough/Markham area? Where there are actual open courts, that you dont' have to wait for hours to play.

I know the Y in London has one evening open for badmington and gets about 15players try the local Y.

I love badminton... its such a fast and hectic sport based on reflex. I used to play it in high school but I haven't played in awhile. I am probablly going to buy a set and a new racket so I can start playing again!

I'm always up for a badminton game. UBC has decent courts, if you're student you get to play for free too :)

Check out Lee's and Mandarin. They're about 30-40 a month i believe.

wow she's done well for herself good for her.
used to train under her years ago when she first opened her little store in that ***** house/office building on Steeles. :lol:

still looks the same useless that's an old pic of her. doesn't resemble a coach/player being so short and chubby but she's pretty good.

If your looking for rec. badminton, lee's isn't the place to go. she's real a bit too serious for my tastes. look up your local community centre or the rec guide in your city, tons of badminton places everywhere, just have to find a right time. some are walkins and some are clubs.

good luck, wish i can play again, but damn knees aren't what they used to be.

I used to play at Lanstaff recreation centre every Friday and Sunday before, now I only go sometimes. It is from 7:30-11:00pm, $10 for one time drop in, or if you buy a 10 times pass (have to go 10 weeks straight for that price) and it is only $60, which includes FEATHER BIRDIES :razz: . 4 courts there and less people play on Friday. Hope I will see some of you there. Cheers
