Diet Barq's Still Available ??????

Since they came out with the new style 12 pack boxes, I can't find diet Barq's (in cans or bottles) anywhere in the GTA.
I've asked in a few stores, and no one knows what is going on. Has anyone seen it (preferably in cans--new stock) available in the GTA?

Diet? Are you nuts? Just kidding. ;)

Maybe check the Pepsi website (believe it's a Pepsi product) and see if it's still in production. Or email them. Or ask any major supermarket product manager and they will tell you if that product is still around. The manager at my local Safeway (close to house) is pretty cool and i've chatted with him a bunch of times (for the heck of it). Grocery store managers have lots of good stories.

I picked up soem diet Mug root beer on the weekend, but I have not seen diet Barq's in a long time.....kind of like diet A&W, you never see it around.

Bottom of the page says Coca-Cola makes it.
Diet is still on that page, but that maybe USA only.
I've asked a few managers. Loblaws/RCSS at Don Mills/Eglinton says they stopped ordering it because it doesn't sell well. Dominion at Kennedy/401 didn't know what was happening. This Dominion was where I always bought it before. I know not all stores carried the diet before.

Well I just called Coke and it seems that Diet Barq's is no longer available in Canada in any form. :(

I saw diet Barq's on sale today @ food basic @ bathurst/steels.
Go get some.

sale says 88c, but it's 97c when it goes threw.
btw...these are the 2L bottles.

I know this thread is really, really old, but I just got my first taste of diet Barq's in Washington and loved it. True Root Beer taste with no sugar? Crazy.

Any update on availability in the GTA?

I'd call the supplier/distributor ... ask them and see what's up ... and yes, this thread is way over 3 years old! :lol: But that's fine, that's what these forums are for.
