Things to do in Orlando & Discounts for Disney

As the title states I'm going to Orlando, FL, for the US thanksgiving Black Friday + attending a work conference. Looking for things to do other than Disney & Universal.

Also what are some of the best shopping outlets & best places to stay?

Anyone been down recently? Share your tips...Any help would be appreciated.

the Kennedy Space Center was the most memorable thing we did around that area! Coco beach also fun for a day.
