the code you get now is your unique code. it wont be given out again so you can get it today and wait til the 19th or wait till the 19th and hope this link still works then

no it will not work till they accept then on PSN. This happens for a lot of early PSN codes for many things.

You can try, but I can't think of any previous betas that allowed for account sharing. You will be able to download it, but it will lock out the original account for typically 24 hours.

I agree it doesn't look 'amazing' on PS3, and really i can't see myself playing any FPS on the PS3, hopefully the PC version with DX11 will look and act better.. It's a nice preview for sure, but too 'disconnected' for me.

It's different from most fps I have played.. I kept on hearing someone on the mic asking how do you kneel :cheesygri I do like the vehicle aspect, quite a few to choose from.

Gameplay reminds me of mixture between KZ2 and MAG.

While I enjoy MW2 and am going to play that until MAG is released in January, this type of slower paced/team work/tactical gameplay is what I actually prefer (opposed to the run-n-gun of MW2). I haven't played BC2 enough yet, but I still think MAG will be the better game of the two.

I think I am the only one who actually likes the graphics in this game. When you look at the environments closely, there is a lot more detail than MW2, and the lighting is also better.

The gameplay is also very addicting, especially with the vehicles and stuff. The control is a lot harder than your average FPS, as when you hold different guns, the controls can get heavier.

Overall, I am really liking this game, probably more than MW2 so far. Though right now it seems the ranking system is totally messed up, and the server is also running into a lot of problems. Nevertheless, I'll probably be purchasing this game on day one. xD

Lol, okay, so maybe on those pictures BC2 doesn't actually look quite as good. But when I play MW2, the textures just looks kind of awful in closeup (especially the trees and grasses, not even mentioning the snow...). Whereas in BC2, the leaves of the trees actually does look like leaves when you look right at them, and the rocks look quite realistic. But maybe that's just me, as the art style is quite different between the two games. The guns, however, are indeed terrible on BC2; the snipers especially.

But nevertheless, it is still a enjoyable game, at least for me. I'm just hoping they can fix the ranking system and the servers soon, because I'm getting kicked out of games left and right. =/

Pretty sure you press L3 (left stick) for it to sprint. You don't run very fast, but it's noticable.

modern warfare 2 is more detailed but the levels are very small

Modern warfare 2 uses tricks to make the levels appear large in the distance but there's no way to actually get to those areas, they are 3D placeholders to enhance the backdrop distance of the levels

Modern warfare 2 and Half-life 2 are both based off Quake engines but have obviously evolved and in the early days of level design on Quake engines the backdrops were just painted 2D images that looked 3D (Sky textures)

If you've ever played Counter-strike source online and die you can NOCLIP around the level and you'll see what I mean by the 3D backdrops

fail design...if you ever played BF2 you know the MG gunner is extremely vulnerable to snipers, other 50. cal gunners, canons

This is a great game so far. The closest successor to BF2. BC1 was a disappointment with the bad graphics and general gameplay. It was also the only reason why I bought a PS3. BC2 will be good for a short while. But I'm really hopeful that they will have BF3 on console. I refuse to play FPS on computer because it is too damn easier, "Scroll and click click click."

I always had a feeling that the guys I kept owning are those who are running a computer on minimum requirement. And those guys owning me are those techies who update their gaming system every three months. I used to be one of these guys sort of. Now, switching to console makes me feel that we are all on the same playing field with the same gaming hardware and it actually creates a challenge.
