Friends,

I live just south of Aurora around Bloomington and Bathurst and I got my iphone delivered to my house on friday.

I got home from work and saw that I had received a few text messages and voice messages but my phone said "NO SERVICE".

Attached it to itunes....did a restore.....2am, my iphone display "NOW ACTIVE"

Since then my phone has been switching between 'BELL', 'SEARCHING' and 'NO SERVICE'....90% of the time, it's NO SERVICE!

Lets take Saturday for example, I saw 'BELL' in the top left hand corner but for the rest of the afternoon, 'NO SERVICE'.

I called Tech Support...they opened a ticket for engineering and made it 'high priority'. Haven't heard anything since.

Is there anyone experiencing the same issue???? Is this a phone issue or network issue. I'm so upset....i've been missing calls and texts...F--K!!!!!!

if you had a regular phone, how is the "bell" coverage in your area? If it is normally great... it is a phone/new service issue... keep on them

perhaps its something a ssimple as Bell's UMTS HLR is going down periodically. if this is the case it would cause your sim to not pick up signal.

if thats the case, its not your phone that needs fixin, its the network.

I'm going to call them today and get an update on my ticket.
