I am curious how some of you made your crib sheet?

I saw my friend penciled all his stuff, u need microscope just to make out what he wrote. (Amazing) =P lol

Most, if not all my upper year courses involved slides, so I'd just copy and paste the PPT or PDF into my cheat sheet and reduce the size, and print it on the highest resolution printer I could get ahold of

the exams for FIN401 consisted of definitions and problems (when i had it at least). So I would just use half a page for concepts and their definitions, and use the other one and half page for problems and their step by step solutions. This way I the formulas I need are on my crib sheet, but I also have a guide on how and when to use them.

Worked for me

Are you allowed to use a magnifying glass?
I just saw today at Shoppers they have these magnifying things on the shelf of the vitamin section to read the small prints:lol:
I actually have a pocket size manifying book light it is 3x4" size.

if only the time spent making the cheat sheet was put into understanding the underlying concepts. In 401 there are only a handful of basic concepts. My apologies if this comes across as an insult.

I put the ratios and basic formulas on mine.

Finance students have it easy. You just get to plug in numbers into the Black Scholes equation and compute the value of an option. Consider yourselves lucky that you don't have to derive the Black Scholes equation using partial differential equations and stochastic calculus.

I do it by chapters... u have the definitions and formulas for a chapter and then u move on to the next. Once you're done reading you'll remember where u saw stuff so when u see it on the test, you know exactly where it is on the crib sheet. You can make use of most of the real estate if you type it... I usually have it typed and then just pencil in anything in the margins if I forgot anything or feel that I need to add anything else.
