Hey everyone,
I have a 2007 honda crv and need to get winter tires this season. I've been looking around like many of you have, and have found the bridgestone Blizzack WS60 and the michelin latitude alpin tires for my size (225/65r17). i noticed on the reviews for the michelin that they say its meant for luxury SUVs and high performance SUVs... i don't think my CRV fits into either category but would like to know if it will still work.

According to 1010 tires the blizzacks are the best selling tires right now, and according to the place i'm getting the tires from, the michelin are better, but i'm not sure on what grounds she based that opinion as she just seemed to be someone sitting at the parts desk and perhaps was just sold out of the blizzacks. the price difference is minimal so either way is good for me...

any input would be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

the ws60 is compared to xice2

the blizzark LM series are for high performance vehicle...

in your case, ws 60 and xice2 will work. i just bought a set of xice2 but not on the car yet. from what i heard, ws60 is very soft, so very good for first few seasons. xice2 is suppose to be a bit harder rubber, still very good in winter and will last a bit longer.

for me it came down to price. whoever has better rebates, cheaper packages, i bought. can't really go wrong with these 2 winter tires either way.

the xi2 is not available for my tire size aparently so i'm leaning towards the blizzack.. the alpin might be too much of a tire for me lol.
