bell starts at $30/mo not $35, that is, if you want the non-adjustable plan

I see these Bell & Rogers promos all that time but you need to pay attention to the fine print. FS & BB both promoting this but one requires a 3 year contract, the other is 2 year contract. You pay a monthly penalty if you exceed bandwidth (call Bell / Rogers for details).
$35 + Fees + Tax = Minimum monthly cost
$840 + Fees + Tax = Total 2 year contract
$1260 + Fees + Tax = Total 3 year contract
So that's a $1000 contract for a free $300 netbook. If you don't have internet, or you're a student living in alone, or traveling on business then it's worth a look. But remember you must commit to at least $1000, and you're charged a penalty for early cancellation.

The fine print in the flyer and in-store requires you to sign a $35/month contract.

Probably not worth it because I'm guessing these are EVDO sticks.
That is, they aren't using the new 21mbps Bell 3G.

Signing a contract with bell is like signing a contract with the devil, they will screw you every chance they get.

Hi, actually signing a contract with bell for contract like that are not always that bad:
2 years ago a singed for this deal :
http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/dell-free-xbox-360-high-speed-sign-up-514092/
Deal was 1 year contract internet 60G limit with free Xbox 360 pro for 45.99$ per month.
if you do the math 45 *12 = 540$
on the third month bell changed the 60G limit and ask me to pay extra for what was exeding 30G.
At this time I had to argu about the promo and they never know that this promo existed and the had nothing as proof as it was a 30G plan. They told me that 60G is not available in Qc.
Following this discussion I have been able to negotiate a different internet deal ... 29.99$ for 30G
So I paid only 3 month at 45$ for my free xbox 360

Just because calling bell 4 times and helping them confuse themselves into giving you what you want usually works, doesn't necessarily make it worthwhile, especially since the billing will be messed up again in 6 months for some other reason :D
