Vancouver 2010 Olympic Ticket Phase 3 Problems?

Just wondering is anyone trying to buy tickets right now? i am trying to get to the site but it keeps timing out. Just wondering if this is for everyone or if people are actually getting into the ticket site. thanks.

No luck either. Even can not load the sign-in page. All I got is the the phase 2 sale announcement which was occured 5 months ago. I guess the server is crashed.

Yup, still on hold here on the phone with them. They told me that all 5 of their servers crashed at around 10:30.

I was so close to checking out with tickets to the opening ceremony, figure skating and short track speed skating. So I'm on hold right now keeping my spot in line.

They actually still had Level C or D tickets left for the popular events!

ETA: Just talked to them, and they said NO ONE has been able to get any tickets today. They are trying to get everyone off the phone line now to figure it out. They took my contact info, and said they'd call me asap.

:mad: i got in 4 times, first time i got kicked out after searching.
2nd time i couldn't click a "next button" after choosing quantity, level of seats, and entering the scrambled word...
3rd time i couldn't click "search" (didn't exist) after selecting ice hockey, opening ceremonies...
4th time my friend's computer got in to "you have 12 mins to purchase these tickets" but without a "confirm" or "next" button to advance to the next page...

conclusion: super frustrating experience.

This whole process has been a gongshow...very very poorly done.

I was part of the initial lottery, and voila, got NOTHING. My order was only for about $2000 worth of tickets, all I could afford, and were not even for the most popular events.

Yet the very next day after the lottery there were thousands of tickets already being scalped all over the net, despite the fact that nobody has actually received any tickets yet.

Phase 2 was even worse, the site crashed again, and after roughly 3 hours of wasting my time I ended getting tickets to a prelim hockey game, russia vs. czech YAY!

I dont know whats wrong with the organizers but someone should be shot over this fiasco. Most regular people couldnt get tickets to anything they wanted, and ticket scalping websites that put in orders for many thousands of tickets got the lions share...

Nope. Apparently nobody at all was able to get tickets yet today, so that's good news at least, the tickets are still available.

The site has been taken down, no ETA on when it will be back up.

For such a "World Class" event, this is pathetic...but I have come to expect as much.

Ya I honestly cant sit around all day and wait for this, because at this point, there is a decent chance it won't even go back online today at all given the number of issues they have had.

I expect things to only get worse leading up to the games with scalpers and etc.

Not to mention they are mailing out tickets in December! Who thought that idea up! December is obviously the busiest mail month of the year, and I can only imagine how many tickets will go missing or be stolen from the mail

It took me an hour to get through just now on the phone and the message is that the ticket office is now closed. Try again during normal business hours.

Hmm...I've also being trying to get through on the 1-800 # for tickets...Finally got through...only to recieve a recorded message indicating that the ticket office is closed???...WTF???

I guess on the positive side, nobody has any tickets yet...

I lucked out and got gold medal hockey tickets.
I pressed where the next and confirm buttons were going to be and got through. Got a confirm # and email confirm so i think i really lucked out.:)

I had 2 tickets to the gold medal hockey game in my basket. Was trying to check out when the site crashed. :(
