Hey,
I was hoping somebody here could recommend me the best credit card for a frequent flyer. I usually fly twice a week and can use a personal credit for all my travel expenses except for the rental card (must use corporate card for this). I typically don't travel internationally and like to stick with WestJet. I am looking for the card that will give me the most rewards back.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Just correcting it, as when this comes out, it will be RBC's first Mastercard

Which corporate card do you use? I use Diners Club for work, and I am responsible for paying it off.
However, I have found that the Diners rewards program is awesome if you use it properly. They have 'tailored travel' where you can call in and apply your points towards any travel expense in the last 6 months. The converson works out to 1.7% cash back. Basically, you spend $10,000 and you can apply the points to cover $170 of expenses. It is then just applied to the balance of the card, and you can still claim the expense back from your company. It sure beats anything else that I could find...basically it is 1.7% cash back.

What's going to make this card so good? Seems like it has no chance of approaching the 1.5x BA miles offers with Avion, nor does it offer worldwide access like Aeroplan and StarAlliance does.

Why are you travelling with westjet? Air Canada offer you aeroplan miles for every flight and if you are a true frequent flyer you will gain status (lounge access, priority boarding/check-in, free upgrades, etc). Aeroplan miles is the best fidelity program for business air travellers. It is also the best value for redeen business/first seat with reward points.
Look at the AeroGold (CIBC) and all the Amex cards, you will surely find one that you like! The less expensive is the Amex Aeroplanplus for 60$. 1$=1 aeroplan point.
Or look here :

If the RBC Westjet MasterCard has an annual fee, I would avoid it. Otherwise, go for it!

I travel Westjet because I hate flying Air Canada because whenever I book with are Canada I always end up on the ****** prop planes which are tiny and loud and I also find that WestJet customer service is much better. The only reason why I would think about flying with Air Canada again is for the AeroPlan miles, I don't really care for the lounge access, priority boarding or free upgrades.
My corporate card is AMEX and there is currently no rewards that I can receive (that I know of). I have had other people I work with recommend the linked card, so maybe I will look into getting that one, if the WestJet mastercard ends up to be ****.
Thanks so far, and if anyone else has any recommendations please let me know.

what hotels are you staying at? Look to see if there is a card to help you double dip on that end.
I avoid the AC's dash 8's when ever posible, I fly connecting through the US to avoid taking a dash 8 from Pearson to cities in the NE US.

Avion....
Travel purchases get you 1.25 points/dollar. If/when the 50% BA bonus comes, then you'll be getting 1.875 BA points/dollar.

With what airline are you flying? If you are flying with AC all the time I would get Aerogold for the simple reason that you can combine it with your AP miles you get for the flight.
Avion and other cards do not have this benefit.

Mmm... Would the TD First Class Travel Infinite VISA be a good choice? No annual fee with the Select Service chequing account.
If you are flying on Westjet exclusively, you can always book from the TD Travel Rewards Centre website and get 9 points per $1, which is at a 4.5% rebate towards any travel products.
