Okay I don't want to get ripped off here since I have a bit of gold.
I have 2 chains that are 40grams together and are 14k gold.
If you calculate it they're worth $870 in gold with today's market.
(I know I won't get that if I sell it to some middle man)

Where should I in the Toronto GTA sell my gold?

u wont get much for 14k gold. 24k is worth about $1000 for an oz
