Thanks for posting. Good selection for people who need one this weekend. Prices could be better but we expect markup at TheSource, there should be several "New" boxes at local stores. That Gateway is essentially a rebranded Acer.

i dont know too much about laptops... are the Toshiba ones any good? i might just get it to replace my 4-year old laptop.

Even they seem overpriced compared with some of the deals we've seen lately. Check elsewhere before buying.

The Acer and Gateway are just netbooks, so nothing special there.

i dont know too much about laptops... are the Toshiba ones any good? i might just get it to replace my 4-year old laptop.

From what i've heard, they are terrible quality. They also look ugly.

The "regular" prices are way inflated. Go to Toshiba.ca and you'll see their regular price for the L300D is $599, not TSCC's $850.

^ thanks for the heads up everyone. perhaps i'll look elsewhere. i dont think im in that much of a rush for one, but if some deal comes up im ready to buy it right away

I think WM have had a better Toshiba for $450 for 6-8 weeks now.

This is dumb. This is what I expect in a laptop

Dedicated Graphics nVidia or ATI.
Intel Processor.
Under $500

Is that too much to ask!?!?!

These Laptop prices are pretty cold, so just wait till TSCC have their closing down sale, THEN we'll finally get some HOT deals from them! :lol:
