I have a friend who got himself into a situation. He had a kick ass job (35/hr) and was able to make his payments. About 8 months ago, he got laid off. He was on contract so dude doesnt get EI. He couldnt make his payments on his loans and his credit is messed up. Dude got a job now and wants to fix his credit.
His score is 550-590.
He has a Personal LOC of about 9k
He has a student loan of about 8k
and a credit car of about 4k.
they are in collections, and he would like to pay these off and what not.
What are the options? Consumer proposal? How can he get a debt condoliatoin loan? He can afford ot make $1000 montly towards his debts. He also wants to get his credit score up so he can buy a house and settle down. What are the options.
He knows he ****ed up pretty bad so please dont come and give him **** for what he did. Hes young and you know how it is.
