I bought a new Hoya Super HMC UV filter from ebay and received it today. I noticed that the Hoya logo on the filter is a bit different from my other Hoya filter, so I tried to search for other Hoya filter images on google and also noticed that they all have the same font for HOYA logo except mine.

My Hoya filter:

Other Hoya filters' images I found on Google:

Does anyone know if it's normal?
I'm kind of worried that I got a fake HOYA filter :(

I believe those are the new logos.
Don't quote me on that though.
I have seen a Hoya filter with that logo on my buddies lens
He claims he got it at Vistek so...

Can you take a pic of the back of the package?

I have some ND filters that have both styles. One of them is just "newer".

I did notice the older one I had didn't have the new pressure mount; and instead was just a metal ring that screwed on. I ended up getting a replacement since the seal wasn't 100%.

The UV filter I bought looks the same. The middle stroke of the H protrudes past the sides a bit. Bought it from Downtown Camera.

Thanks so much guys.
I don't feel as worried now after reading all your input.
I guess it's just their new logo then. :)
