Band of Brothers was based on a real life story. Time and time again I've said that the main characters in Band of Brothers all exist or existed, you want a follow up to what, what those guys did for the rest of their lives as old men? You want a follow up to Band of Brothers? Go to one of their annual reunions that they have - right now there's only a handful that are still alive. They're in the late 80s and 90s now.
Also, definitely read the true to life book of which the entire series developed around.

I wish people would be more informed.
This is the real "follow up" of what all those men did after the war in Band of Brothers - from episode 10. You get to see the real Richard Winters, the real Carwood Lipton, the real Donald Malarkey, the real Bill Guarnere...etc.

**cough** I'm supporting HBO/TMN so they have the revenue to fund quality projects like this, True Blood, and Rome, to name a few. **cough**

Perhaps he/she meant "follow up" in the sense of the production of another program such as BOB. Hence the excitement in "The Pacific", a follow up.

If he can't afford HBO Canada (for only a few good shows) or the DVD is not available for sale yet.
So you're all saying to Migger, tough luck, sucker.
Listen I am all for good production shows et al.
I am only suggesting alternative sources, if he wants to watch it right away.
And buy the DVD later on for better quality.
Heck, didn't some sites stream live networks and cables shows with permissions.

Thanks for the back up.. I can't believe you even had to spell that out for him/her. Some people are just way too anal.
CSAgent, obviously, it's not a follow-up to the lives of the men of the 101st who fought through France and Germany... I meant a follow-up in the sense that it's a spiritual successor to Band of Brothers. It's the same network, and the same producers, and also centers around the same war (albeit a different part of the world)...

Worse comes to worst, I can always wait for the DVD... also, when BoB originally showed, they re-released it on Global and the Bravo! channel a few months later, from what I recall.

Be careful using the word "follow-up" - there are sticklers policing the board :p
