I was wondering what was the best way to purchase 4 computers with monitors for each. Like getting a good price. Should I go big box store (staples/FS/BB) or online like Dell.

Which places can I haggle it. Don't want to go unknown however.

Futureshop and Bestbuy will give no deals on purchasing multiple pcs. Stick to the big computer stores like canadacomputers.com, pcvonline, or use Ncix.com to build your own.

No deals? will ncix give deals?

Smaller stores might give you a better deal. Walk in with the specs you need and then say you need 4 of these. Ask for a deal and if they refuse to budge, walk out.

NCIX doesn't give you bulk discounts, but generally they have good prices. Your best bet is to come up with the specs and use pricecanada.com to find the cheapest prices for the parts. Take those quotes to PC Village and they will match the lowest prices. That's what I did for my pc. If they don't match, walk out.

at staples you had to spend like $15k or something crazy to even be eligible for a discount. Buying 4 PC's isn't really that big of a purchase for them, if you were looking to outfit a medium sized office, then thats another story.

4 doesn't really count as bulk for most big stores. Dell might give you like $50 more off per comp (compared to 1) but thats about it. You'll get a better deal waiting for some special clearance.
